SCHOLARSHIP ENDOWMENT FUND

Did you know?

In June of 2006 the AIA Northwest Washington Chapter was granted 501(c)3 status by the Internal Revenue Service.  One of the goals in our application was to start a scholarship program.  This program will be eligible to any resident of the AIA Northwest Washington Chapter that is enrolled in, or accepted to, any architectural degree program accredited by the NAAB.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 as an endowment, which at a 5% return will allow us to give $1,000 per year in scholarships.  If we are able to grant this amount for three continuous years, the AIA national component will match our grant dollar-for-dollar.

Please consider becoming a founding donor. A donation to the AIA Northwest Washington Chapter Scholarship Fund is fully tax-deductible.  Your contribution will be invested by the chapter for the benefit of future architecture students - you will make a
Difference for many generations to come.

Thank you for your consideration.
